N to S

If I was to buy a K3 naked how easy would it be to change it to a faired version?

It would be easier to just buy a faired one, its easier going naked to faired then faired to naked. Your need to acquire things like faired front loom for the dual light setup. Also if I remember correctly K3 parts are a touch rarer then the other pointy stuff as it seems to have some more 'first gen pointy' features that they changed on the later models.

Though if you fancy a challenge then feel free, I've turned my early model S to a N.

Whats your budget ?

The others are right, its daft to spank money on converting one to the other, when it'd probably work out cheaper cost wise and hassle / time wise just to buy what you want in the first place.

The curvy is just as much of a challenge or had you not planed on doing that.

If I was buying a curvy i would just get a faired one already :]

Budget is really defendant on what happens over the next couple of months with work. I quite fancy getting something sorted before then though. And i just don't want another naked bike.

I thought I didn't want a naked bike but 6 months after buying the faired one I wished I hadn't.

I had a faired bike before, I have a naked one now and i cant stand it if im making progress. It just hurts. And the positioning on this one is hunched over with high pegs so thas not good lol
