SV650 99-02 Engines for sale - Suitable for rebuild
 

Got two engines that have begun knocking or rattling.

Asking £30 for the two collected.

They are pretty much complete. Cant be asked to repair them or stick them on ebay.

I'm based in East London.

how bad is the knocking and rattling? Could it be covered up with a loud pipe????:cool:

If knocking, maybe for a while before it totally shreds itself. I've got 2 "knocking" motors here, neither were salvageable as both have scored cranks. This is a fairly common failure of the very early curvy engines.

But for £30 someone will make a few quid as a complete clutch pack is worth that. Loads of other bits too...

'fraid Dave got in there first mate, however I might have a third one for you!! I'm PM'd you back.

BTW: They story behind these engines stem back to stunting on my first SV... early SV's dont like oil stava...

I'm pretty sure all will run, but are being sold as damaged.

Its not looking like the offers will fall through unless Dave and Sweep cant arrange transport, but I'll let you know!!
