Do you ever get "Wrong" text messages
 

I am not talking of ones that are of a Wrong nature , I get enough of them from Paul the 6th , but ones that appear to have been meant for somebody else but have been sent to your phone instead . I got one last night


Text arrives starting with +44(and a load of numbers) so I know it`s a UK mobile and they are not on my saved numbers list .

Text is "Hiya mate , yeah I will buy it and take it off your hands"

I`m not selling anything , so this isn`t for me , my eyes Narrow and a devious streak emerges so I text back

"The price has doubled"

Two minutes later I get a reply to it

"man it ain`t worth THAT much"

I reply "It is if you don`t want me to repeat your dirty little secret"

I am yet to receive a reply :smt003

I got a text a while back, it was extremely naughty, I assumed it was some kind of scam trying to get me to reply to it.

If it was a real one though, I'm jealous - I can assure you Mrs Swin *never* wants me to put it there....

hahaha! had a few mistake messages, but I used to work for a mobile phone company and one of their automated numbers that we monitored would get loads of mistakes... some really embarrassing, girls replying to their boyfriends etc :shock:

My old phone used to do it all the time to me, and generally when I was so constantly tired I would text and then send it to the wrong person!

I stopped listing forum people under their forum names as well because, my friends would get curious in the pub if I left the phone on the table and ring the one with the most unusual name .......

Highly embarrassing at times!!!

I sent a text to my ex by mistake that was meant for my current gf...think, poke pie, synagogue moment.

1 sms message but I thought it was a trap to get a reply so didnt risk it.

i got a LOT of calls recently from ocean finance for a steven king. apparently the scamp had borrowed a wheelbarrow full of cash and done one, leaving my phone number...
