Moving to Stockport.
 

Well my sister dropped a bombshell yesterday she is moving to a place called Great Moor, close to Stockport Cheshire. We are from Kent so its a fair trek away. Just wanted to know if anybody on here is a local there who I might just ask a few nosey questions too please. About pubs, schools etc.

I work for Stockport Council so I could probably answer a few questions.
No idea about pubs, but I service the Education Admission Appeals at the moment (for at least for another 2 weeks until I go on a secondment to Oldham Council for 3 months :p) so could give a heads up on schools in the area, which are the more popular/oversubscribed ones, etc :)

Depends on which part of great Moor your sisters in to pubs!!

Great Moor primary would most likely be her local primary school
Secondary will be Stockport school or Hazel Grove High or even Offerton High if shes over that side of Great Moor
