Dainese Kevlar Jeans

Its pay day tomorrow and I think I'm going to head down the the Dainese shop in town and get a set of Kevlar jeans for the summer. I know this place is a little divided over kevlar jeans and the protection they offer but has anyone had any experience with Dainese ones?

I'm just wondering how they compare to other jeans like Draggin in terms of protection etc. I know they're not as good as leathers but sometimes its just too warm for leather trousers!

Lucky, its still raining and cold up here! :(

I have red route jeans, with knee protectors.
Got them from HG, pop in and have a look if you're looking for other options.

You can afford to go shopping there? Blimey!

J&S at Northwich have quite a few different types, plus, they don't take a pound of flesh as payment!

I like mines quite alot, had them sincer summer 08'.

Mainly used for commuting(blasting) to college, fast un busy A road.

Haven't crash tested them, no rips or tears so far, only thing I don't like it the zips down each leg, but maybe this differs with products.

Paid lyk £90 total I think.

so did my mate with draggins. Just a rear pocket tore on his, and no grazes.

Dianese? Surely you'll be spending more just for the brand name?

Nope, the ones I was lookign at the other day were sub £100. Looked pretty smart too. I would love some of their jackets but they cost almost as much as my bike

arr ok, well draggins are 89 quid, so if Dianese are around that, then cool. I just thought they'd be their usual rip off prices. You need to win the lottery just to look at the price tags on a lot of stuff in there...lol
