Bank holiday weekend... Weather looking good! Humm???

Anyone fancying a bit of a ride this weekend?

I am thinking that sunday is looking decent... depending on who(if anyone) is up for it could take in the THE TAP for a drink and some lunch, have a nosey at some bikes as i am sure the good weather will bring a few out.

Just an idea, if something better is thought up then great.... Ideas on a postcard!!

Claire and me were talking about this last night. Claire suggested a 'Sunday Lunch Run' - meet up somewhere and go for a bit of a rideout then have lunch, craic and then head home. Lunch can be at a pub, fish & chips, a cafe, sarnies on the prom, anything really.

We have a couple of destinations in mind.

Anyone else fancy this?

Only problem with this Sunday Dave is that the weather forecast i`ve looked at is awful for Sunday.... Saturday looks far better. Also the Tap don`t do food and I`m sure the bike meet there is a Sunday evening not afternoon.

Agree though that we really need to get some more ideas together for venues. Maybe the mid week meets are working to well due to work commitments etc. so as Mike and I were saying a Sunday might work better.

What does anyone think?

The tap does not do food you are 100% correct, but there is a little cafe that does the usual on a take out basic and there is the 2 4 1 in the hotel/resturant there too. I only managed to make it to one meet at the back end of last summer.... and it was heaving. Lay on the grass eating my chips.

Metcheck and BBC both saying that the weather will be good in the north west on Sunday. Reckon we might have a go.

So where do folks fancy going?

I'm very much up for a ride this weekend, have my new tyres (went for Avon Storm's) so need to put some miles on them!

Not too fussed where or when.

It didn`t say it would be good at 9pm last night... in fact it was rain forecast all day sunday and monday with a brief break about 1pm. I`m assuming it could change as quickly again?
