Quick question - Is there somewhere safe for me to leave my car at the Bootle dock?

Depends on how long you're going to leave it there for. When we stay in Liverpool our vehicles are parked in the NCP car park which is near the Radisson Hotel. Entrance is is in Pall Mall or via Old Hall street (where the Radisson is). It's covered by CCTV & is well lit. The radisson Hotel is 1min walk, you can easily get a taxi down to the docks.

£12 overnight parking, don't know how much 24hrs is.

There is also the multi story near Queens Dock, a bit further away and more expensive, but nice and secure. Bit harder to find somewhere to get a taxi from here though.

I'm not local, but I've been there a lot. Down Bootle way is a bit rough in my opinion and wouldn't leave my car there.

But the locals may know better than me

Then maybe the CP near the Radisson would be Ok. It's open, but as I say it's covered by CCTV.

Do the ferry company have a secure site?

See if any locals come up with a better solution. Liverpool isn't as bad as some people make out. We've never had any problems (touch wood) with vehicles being broken into or tampered with, but I couldn't say it'll never happen.

There are places where you wouldn't leave your car though, Bootle docks area is one! :rolleyes:
