Talk, Talk Problem...

Has anyone else here used, have experince of the above ISP?

This is the situation, my housemate has that as his landline we use the broadband.

The phone line stop working about last Tuesday, so almost a week ago, We have both called them they are useless, for one they don't speak english.

Anyway they said its a problem at the exchange, and they are "working on it" my **** they are it doesn't take that long to fault find a nd fix a problem. They are not intrested in fixing the problem, went into a carphone warehouse, the memeber staff dribbled a bit (they didn't give a s***)

So what can I do to fix this problem? What do I do next casue speaking to them is a waste of time to blunt. I'm get angry with them I need full web access. At the moment I'm running the web through my mobile phone, which just can't cut it.

Any help/advice would be awesome.

Talk talk also does AOL IIRC? I'm with them and it keeps cutting out, for hours on end. Sometimes doesn't do it for weeks, sometimes it'll do it every day.. annoying..

Just change your ISP to one of the less heard about but better for service ones.

I've heard a lot of negativity about Talk Talk, ditch them is the best alternative.

That I know, but the line is dead. I forgot to mention apparently Talk, Talk flagged the line or something like that, I spoke to sky as we have sky TV. They said I have get BT to do something to the line to make it work and so them or anyone else can take it over.

Its just a load of grief, they are being difficult I really could do without it.

If Talk Talk use AOL I'd get rid as soon as. AOL is Dog ****.

Usually when you call support lines they can check the phone line there and then to see where the problem is and then provide support from there.

Makes sure that if it does get fixed/does not get fixed that you get all your mobile calls refunded!

Just sounds to me like they don't care and usually the people in the shops don't know the first thing about what to do.

Virgin Media do this for you when you open up a service with them.
This might be the problem your having i.e. Talk Talk have not contacted BT to say there using your line and thus your not getting the services?
