M4 exhaust parts - available?

hello forum

I have a small problem maybe you guys can help

I have a 2001 sv650s with a m4 full system.

At an MOT a year ago or so, the exhaust was changed, and the mounting bracket went missing, never to be found.

This has stuck me with the standard system again.

I have tried the UK M4 dealers who just gave me blank stares and said the could only supply full systems and not 'small parts'.

I was considering contacting M4 in USA but I cant find an email or phone number.

Does anyone have an email for M4? Or any possibilities of a UK dealer who might get the part for me? I would build a new one if I had a workshop, but I dont, so I am trying to buy one.

Any help appreciated.

Al

Unfortunately not, its the band that goes around the exhaust, the one that comes supplied with the can, rather than the hanger. Its like a steel band with a rubber bit in the inside, goes round the can and bolts onto the footrest hanger.. thanks for the reply tho. looks like I will have to make one.

Have you tried JHS, I phoned them about a year ago for this very reason but I think they wanted about £30 for one so had one made in the end.
However they don't seem to be the best made brackets or they wouldn't snap so your probably better off making one out of some descent material.

what bout one of these, doesnt have to be an m4 part does it? just make your own or measure it and get one with the same diameter. i brought a universal one and just shaped it to fit my can
