H & R Insurance Company, Aberdeen
Anyone got their insurance with these guys?
Got a great quote online with them, and due to renew soon. Would rather give a scottish based company the business too. Told Bennetts where to go after a year of ****-ups! Cheers petals! Dx:smt024 |
Re: H & R Insurance Company, Aberdeen
I was with them for two years on the sv, no problems (although I wasn't claiming).

Re: H & R Insurance Company, Aberdeen
They are who I have used for all my biking insurance.
They were great when I had my off on the SV - they often waive charges like once when I needed a duplicate cert and I dont think they charged me an admin fee to swap the Zed onto the policy the SV was on. I have recommended them in the past and will continue to do so. |

Re: H & R Insurance Company, Aberdeen
yip, had a claim with them (well they were the broker, insurance was on NIG). A bit confusing because they use different companies for everything. Claims are delt with by one company, legal is another (didn't pay for legal, but they gave it to me anyway when I claimed), nil excess is another*, and theres one which is supposed to tie them all together.
*If you take out the nil excess policy that they offer, notice that it only covers you vehicle if it is writen off or stolen. I know someone that was caught out by this, as they had an acident but the bike wasn't writen off and nil excess didn't pay out. |
Re: H & R Insurance Company, Aberdeen
ermm nice to hear some people have had good experience with them... my dealings with them was nothing but infuriating :smt013 ... needed to supply certificate of restriction... explained it was in northern ireland... would get to them within 7 days...(happy enough response from H&R) 2 days later received letter in post saying insurance had been cancelled cos no restriction certificate... ermm thanks but what happened to the 7 days grace period?? sorry... insurance cancelled... and the cheek of it and cherry on top they took the premium out of my account the same day they cancelled.. i am still trying to get my money back ...:smt090 never had a problem insuring bike / car... untill i stumbled upon H&R... :silent:
