The joys of filtering!

Yesterday Mr Lou and I rode over to Warwick, there is a long dual carridgeway ending up at the M40, this has currently got major road works on and traffic was down to single lane and stationary. So we decided to filter, popping into the coned area now and again.

As we got to the front we waited behind some big cage (no idea what it was), he then thought the car in front had moved so he went straight into the back of it.
Well we must have looked like a comedy duo, Mr Lou went round one way, and I went round the other (no need to stop as no damage) and carried on our way, whilst all the cars had to sit and wait for them to sort out.

It's great to be on a bike!

the question I ask myself is "why the feck don't they pull the vehicles off the road and let everyone through instead of trying to resolve it whilst blocking everyone?"

Filtering's great until some cage sits right in the middle of the 2 lanes so you can't get past... kn*bs!

wing mirror jousting with your foot... and their mirror, obviously :) failing that, I wore a high viz jacket for the first time the other week. One with bright yellow on the upper half and royal blue on the lower - looks ever so slightly police'ish style: they soon make way for you :)

The only way to filter! =D> :)

If I was a regular city-commuter I would almost certainly take that approach. Anything to give you an edge.
