Wathington Wetlands Park Bike Meet
 

Just thought I'd give us Northern folk a heads up on this one. If we cant be bothered to take the trek to Squires for a cup of tea and a muse over some exotic machinery, then we could head over to Washington Wetlands Park. Every Wednesday theres a meet over there and supposedly hundreds of bikes turn up. Ive never been yet but thinking of heading over there soon, possibly this Wednesday to scrub the new tyres in. Anyone else been/fancy it?

Just goes to show that this place need more TRUE northerners, not those in the South of the North ;)

No Im going to go down to Squires Carl, as my tyres need scrubbing in. Washington, even the long way round is not really far enough. Fancy Squires?

Just back in from a blast around Yorkshire. Squires is tempting but with the ride tomorrow I've got some chain adjusting and tyre pressures to fiddle with... and I MUST clean some of the flies off my leathers tonight! It like a crispy shell from the chest up! :)

If I'm still down this way then defo next week.

I've not been to the washington meet myself but i was told about it a while ago and then completely forgot about it, i was told that it was a huge meet tho and it does sound interesting.
