Opinions on this jacket please.

http://www.thunderroad.co.uk/jackets...px#fulldetails

This is my first jacket to continue doing my lessons and pass my test with. I didn't want anything too colourful or sporty looking and I've heard of Richa and I knew to look out for the C.E approved armour.

Would like your honest opinions on the grey one please, I paid £130 btw.

Cheers.

looks pretty cool and understated to me, main thing is you have some protection in case you need it.

45£? ****, looks like I was ripped off lol.

I Wanted a perfect fit so decided against buying online, problem is that where I live (North Devon) there are no decent retailers for like 50 miles. Thanks for your post, glad I didn't buy something laughable looking with **** protection although the back isn't the best it's still C.E and better nothing. I think I will buy a new 2 piece when I pass my test.

Yeah exactly that's the main thing, I did find it quite hard to decide on what to buy with so many brands and variety and most importantly trying to make sure it is something that will protect me well.
I'd rather pay a lot extra and get some decent protection than cheap out, but then again I don't just want to be paying for the name, spending more than I have to.

Richa are a good brand. I've got their textile monsoon pants. Didn't tear or even scuff when I came off. I've used their gloves for years. Although I prefer halvarrsons.
The jacket is not my taste, but it ticks the boxes for safety. You've more than likely got yourself a good one.
