Ron Haslams - crashed !

Well there was I bombing round Donington on Wednesday ....first session instructor says , err other chap really good, but Pete .....err, i thought you were going down a few times...youre leaning the bike over too much while you are like pillion, too upright....you need to hang off more , weight the inside peg and keep the bike more upright...Ok Ill try, we do a coupla laps and i get a big thumbs up from instructor ahead, apparently I was looking better but i didnt feel any better....so im following into the Loop, shooting past others , he takes a lovelt flowing line thru but Im in tighter and trying to follow his line out I tip it over more and .....down :o, just tipped it off the edge of the tyre like he said I would....:smt119

well it was slow, landed on me elbpw, shoulder and helmet....that was me done ! **** it ! least it wasnt my bike !;)

I find it really hard following the instructor , made more mistakes in those 10 laps i did than all the other dayys ive done at Donny put together...absolutely awesome bike on track btw, you just need to get used to it !!!:smt087

Oops!

Whats the insurance on those things? Did you have to pay an excess?
