Painting an exhaust link pipe

Hey!
Does anybody know anything about getting an exhaust link pipe painted?
(I'm not sure if its even possible)
Basically, I've got a stainless steel link pipe that I would like black...?!
Cheers

I would have thought that powder-coating would be the best bet.

Powder Coating wouldn`t last very long on an Exhaust , you`d be better off getting it Ceramic Coated .

Cant you just use High Temperature paint? They sell this stuff in black at Halfords.

Yeah like PJ1 or whatever it`s called . I used it years ago on my KTM exhaust . Cleaned it to the letter , even warmed the pipe up first in the oven as per instructions . Gave it a nice coating and it looked good for a while . It soon started to get scratched away with various bits of road debris and missiles , that`s why I prefer Ceramic coating nowadays , its a bit hardier and looks good if done by a good company .

Never heard of ceramic coating... will look into it.
I'd thought about powder coating it but want sure about he heat the exhaust puts out. Also quite conscious of what it'll look like over time if I start messing about with it (cracking, peeling, chipping etc).

Its just looks really shiney and silver against my black bike... can sounds wicked though, dont think my husband realised it would quite so loud when he ordered it!!!

http://www.camcoat.u-net.com/index.htm

I used them for a Link pipe for a friend a few years ago , they charged around £6 per foot at the time , it didn`t cost much to get done .
