Discoloured brake discs (heat?) and what do I do?

Since having the Daytona I've noticed the front brake discs are discoloured as if they've been heated and are also slightly grabby when the bike comes to a stop. Before trackdays I've taken out the pads and given them a scrape on a nice concrete surface and it seems to help. THe discs aren't warped at all.

Do I need to gently sand the discs and pads a bit? If so what's a bit?

Could this have been caused by some rather pussy-footed riding whilst I was running the bike in?

Are calipers binding and cooking them?

Can you light a fag on the discs yet? :-P

Dunno Chris. Calipers seem fine with only a tiny bit of abrasion sound and feeling when spinning the free wheel. They may have in the past though. That seem possible? I have felt them after a ride and they're hot but nowhere near that hot.
