Hay fever+ biking..
I was looking forward to another good long ride today, and I was home again within 50 miles. I couldn't stop sneezing, though it was a bit better in faster bits with some air circulating. What a pain in the backside.
Anybody else get this? |

Re: Hay fever+ biking..
Tesco 'one a day' allergy tablets. Not the non-drowsy crap, the proper ones.
Take a couple of those before you go out, and you'll be fine. |
Re: Hay fever+ biking..
I'll have a look next time I'm in Tesco Dan- Thanks.
I don't quite understand why I haven't stopped sneezing today, yesterday I did 100 odd miles and the worst I had was itchy eyes :( |
Re: Hay fever+ biking..
Howabout an antihistamine nasal spray? That might help a lot.
My hayfever's been at it over the last week. I just take cetirizine once a day. It helps- but not totally! I don't tend to suffer too much when on the bike, though |

Re: Hay fever+ biking..
I dont notice it to badly when I'm on the bike. I find it worse when I stop, eyes streaming and sneezing.
Pollen count seems really high today as well. |
