Gauging interest in a Northwest ride

I was asked last night about the possibility of organising a Northwest bimble.

Probably start Preston -> Slaidburn->Devils -> Kendal -> Shap-> Kirkstone ->Devils-> Quernmoor ->Preston.

Requestor's do not want the iron **** version. ie, from Shap, -> Hartside, Alston, Middleton in Teesdale, Brough, Kirkby Steven, Sedbergh, Hawes, Ribblehead, Ingleton, Devils.

Although if time ./ weather permits I guess the passes are a possibility.

So questions, who would be interested and midweek or weekend. Obviously when.

Can I get an indication of interest before I formalise this

I'm up for it - either midweek or weekend works for me at the mo as I'm out of contract.

i supose them wrong'uns can come as well as long as orose is behind me lol
yea like i said yesderday im well up for this but i think it should be more newby friendly than some of the missions ive been on recently (concidering i orginised one ive not really a position to b1tch from)

Newbie friendly would exclude the passes option. (Shouldn't, it is a right of passage for all bikers).

My original route does have some benefits, in that from Kendal over Shap left turn through Pooley Bridge, past Ullswater over the Kirkstone to Windemere is just short of 50 miles with just one turn. So fun.

time to play with google maps for a route, watch this space

I think I'm in, but as one of the aforementioned newbie's I reserve the right to delay my right of passage. They don't call me chicken for nothing! lol.
That said, if eveyone else wants the un-newbie friendly version then I could always tail along at the back and meet you there a day later! lol
