Fitting handle bar grips
 
Renthal soft grips to be exact

Left one slips straight on all fine and dandy although a little lose which im putting down to glue not set yet.

Right one pain in the ar$e how do you fit it? those stupid groves and that get in the way, is there a simple way, take a dremmel to it or what?

Help much apprechated (sp?)

Any one?

The throttle tube has 2 lips one furthest away from the switch gear and one nearest the switch gear and the standard grip is moulded to fit over these lips.

hack the lip off... slide the grip on

As above really. You might have to file it down smooth for the Renthal grips to fit correct.

I posted same question a few weeks ago, hack them off, but the one at the back nearest the brake reservoir i filed it down a bit then chamfered the inside edge of the grip to kind of match it to the 'lip'.
Mine has worked great.
