What is going on with the weather up here in the North East???.

I've been off since I finished work on Thursday and it has been very grey and murky, no sign of the sun, it has been extremely wet and if not raining it's been drizzle and a dampness just hanging in the air.

Today is actually a bit brighter, but still very murky.

I work a 7 on 3 off, 7 on 4 off, 7 on 3 off, 7 on 4 off............

shift pattern. Since the begining of June it's been absolutely naff on my days off :smt010 , but glorious on some of the days I'm at work, anyone got a length of rope and a tree with a strong branch.......

Same here, sort of...

I'm sat in work right now and it's absolutely glorious outside! Although having said that I'll be off mid-week and the forecast is sun sun sun :D

Last night going home from work was a nightmare - storms of biblical proportions in Manchester yesterday evening as I left the office. It was raining so hard the streets around our building were literally like a river - it was a few inches deep in some places, running up over the kerbs! :shock: Riding home was 'interesting'! :lol:

Yes it seems the weather has been organised by some sort of nazi for me as well, worked in London, Birmingham & Manchester from Tuesday to Friday last week, weather was amazing (if you're not carrying panels, flight cases & other heavy sh'te up stairs) then the wknd rocks up & it's grey as east Germany before the wall came down. Now I'm back in manchester til Tuesday and we've been warned that the newmet office warning system is at level2 for heatwaves etc. F*ckers
