Avon warranty
 

I may have a small puncture, very small nail or something in the centre of the rear tyre. Do Avon still offer a warranty with their tyres? Is it based upon milage or wear? And do you have to go back to the dealership where you got the tyre fitted or can you go anywhere and Avon will cover the cost?

Any help appreciated

YES they do have a warranty. It is based upon tread depth. I think you have to go back to the place that supplied you with them
Have a look on Avons website. I'm sure you'll find the details.

Did have a search, but there isnt anything on their site about it at all. Wondered if anyone has actually had it done?

I've tried it, unfortunately the tread depth was just out, so I couldn't get a new rear. :-(

I may bell the tyre shop when i get back from holiday and see if they'll check it out...I can't imagine i've used more than a millimeter :|

Not sure if it's still running, but it used to be the first 1mm of wear or 1,000 miles which ever was sooner.

Thanks Mark and DizzyBlonde,

I've definately done less than 1000 miles and can't imagine 1mm is used, so if it is still going I should be good to have a replacement. Will post when I find out!
