question on damper

spent a lot of my day 2day looking around the .org and found some intresting stuff. for example finaly found the sv manuals :P clicky me to see but whilst i was looking for them i came across this ...

http://www.sv650.org/gallery/pic7/SU...R_KITsmall.jpg

now i didnt know you could get a steering damper that fitted like that for the sv so here is my question has any one got one of these ( bit of a stupied question as the picture is from the .org ) but would like to know peoples views.

i will be doing my front end when i have some cash (clicky link for lots of info thanks to YC & bibo and some other .orgers) this is for a front end off a gsxr 1000 USD forks. so here is my big question once i have done my front end and refitted the bar risers to the srad yoke will this damper still fit.

That looks proper bling. Must be a pain when you want to lift the tank though

Even on a race bike I have to say that I think dampers are a total waste of money most of the time for an SV. But.....on the occasional fast corner with a bump in the middle they are essential if you want to keep the speed up and the throttle pinned.

Thats why I bought a GPR damper, expensive but it does the job.
