On Sat 4 July, Hein Gericke in Darlington are having an open day in aid of the North East Air Ambulance.

For £5 (or £10 spent in store) your bike can go on the dyno machine - and all for a good cause to :p

I might go to - but not for the dyno, i already know the SV's 33bhp (or at least it should be!)

It's an allday thing so i'd guess 9am - 6pm ish?

theres a site www.4theride.co.uk which you can register to and find out whats happening at local stores and get heads up about different promotions ect.

If the weathers good, an some folks from here go maybe depending on time there could be a little ride out?

Roo Star, I might just go for that, its in for a service on Thursday so depending on what i'm doing this weekend, I might go along and dyno it. I might even see if I can get 2 runs on it to see what the baffle does to the exhaust. I have a feeling im losing top end without it but boosting low and mid range while the exhaust smooths it out.

Where in Teesside you from bud? Just bought an SV or just found this place?

Hi Robchester, i'm in Stockton how bout you?

I've had the SV since Feb but only joined the forum yesterday ( i posted in the banter section to say Hi and then realised there's this section for folks locally), i'm not very computer/forum literate but thought it seems like a nice community.

For the price and that fact it's for charity it seems like a great oppertunity to use the dyno - wish i wasn't restricted cos i'd love a go to.

Are you involved with it Richie? I might get myself down there, although I was considering going to Knockhill on Sunday for the BSB so having 2 passes in one weekend was stretching it a bit.... Watch this space.
