Enormous Thanks
As per title a huge big thankyou to Almarko and Puny Express for their assistance on Sunday afternoon after the GMII. I rode part of the way with them but prior to leaving them both dropped my bike whilst getting off a kerb... one of those stupid things and the lesson learnt is don`t pack so much blooming luggage as I can`t handle the weight!
I broke a gear lever but fortunately had a fixer peg which was quickly fitted. My bike then wouldn`t start :( I`m so glad that I was with them both as I wouldn`t have had a clue and would have had to call the AA to get relayed home. They stayed with me for a couple of hours at least and tried everything to get my bike going. In the end they shorted something out so I was able to start my bike by using a spanner on the battery terminals... the sparks were extremely pretty!! :D Guys I`m so grateful to you both and I owe you big time... I deprived you of a couple of hours of your journey time and I`m so very sorry. However you didn`t complain once and your actions proved to me what a fantastic bunch of people the org is made of. I`ve made such fantastic friends on here and I`m really grateful to you all but Mark and Puny you really helped me out of a pickle and again many many thanks. PS: Was I lucky when to find that there was a bike shop across the road to where I was staying in Elgin. It was a problem with the immobiliser on my alarm which was sorted the next day. They didn`t charge and even gave me coffee whilst I waited  |
