Brake Pads
 

Two questions:
1. Roughly how long should a set of front pads last ?
2. Which replacement pads do people recommend ?

My fronts are due to be changed (originals) and the bike is just short of 7.5k.

Replacement pads are a bit of a personal thing. I went for organic's (same type as OEM) as the current pads stop me well enough. Sintered HH's are supposed to give more inital bite, but they can eat disks. I hear EBC HH's are very good though.

Depends how much you use them.

EBC HH if you want more bite, or the normal organic ones are pretty good too.

About 7k depneding on use really. I favour Hein Gericke own pads (rebranded carbonne lorriane) They offer the same bite as EBC HH but without the disc eating properties that i associate with them.

Ive been thinking of changing my pads for some ebc sintered HH, where is the best place to get them from price wise because when i looked on their site it was £116 for front and rear pads, or does that sound about right?

thanx rich, its around that price on the ebc website but it says you have to order 2 sets each side for the front hence the big expense, or is it me bein thick an reading it wrong

did you change the quantitys to 2 like it says in the red writing at the top mate, also if you scroll down its got left hand side of bike too, thats why its gettin me all mixed up!! i get £116.82
