New addition to the family....
...not sure if many of you knew we were expecting but the bent banana's little sister was delivered at 5.05pm on Friday night.
This one should be an easy one, but try and guess :p |

Re: New addition to the family....
Ride for Ride comparison curvy naked for pointy SVs: the new one fits me better. Are they taller or something?
I'm yet to figure out which one's can sounds nicer (as I can't hear over the new one's induction snort!...which is stupidly satisfying) The SVs is definitely nicer looking (although I like the curvy in it's own way, but something was never quite right for me) but I can't help but feel the SV-s is too nice for me. I'm not getting on with the handling on the SVs just yet, the naked could be dropped into corners effortlessly I didn't even know I was doing it, with the clipons the bike takes some pulling about. The SVs has nicer rear suspension (cheers richie :thumright:) but I'm used to "forks o' iron" up front on the naked (they were a bit too stiff though) and the standard setup on the SV-s really is a bit wallowy, so I think that's my first and last job (as far as I can see*fingers crossed*) on it, although you never know I might just get used to it I know loads of people leave it standard.. The SVs seems to have a bit more boot too as I've never had the front end up on the curvy, but it was a case of cracking the throttle on the pointy (that test ride almost went very wrong!). Hoping with more miles under my belt i'll get along with the handling on the pointy, but as is,despite that, I still prefer the pointy. Really will miss the curvy though, is an awesome bike. |
