Conti Road Attacks
 

I loved these tyres on my bike, although they were my first ever set on the bike, then i replaced them for the same set again. This time though they have worn out incredibly fast. The rear probably only has another 2-3k left in it and they've been on the bike since 20th march. Just worked this out to be about 5.5k miles, which i suppose isnt too bad now...?

What tyres take a beating? I think its a lot to be with my confidence on the bike now after a year, and that its summer.

Hello mate, I just had the old road attacks taken off and PR2's fitted. The new one's are far far better, so much more grip and feel even in the wet. I've not had anything else but the michelin's are my reccomendation..

Yeah I found the Road Attacks whilst they had plently of tread wore out in the middle real quick so I had to replace mine after just 4k.

PR2's are supposed to be really good and a lot of people rate Avon Storms.

I'm using sport attacks at the moment.

Super grippy but I realise that this comes at a cost.

Tyres are all tax deductable in the long run anyway :cool:

I run PR2's, and I love them.
Away to replace my first front, and on my second rear.

Got around 5K~ out of my last rear, depends how you ride I suppose.
Got >2K out of my last Dunlop Sportmaxx, much prefer the PR2's.

ive got road attacks on my fazer 1000, ive never had a problem with them plenty of grip seem to be lasting well, maybe could do with abit more feedback. ive noticed they are better since dropping the rear tyres pressure abit but still abit wooden cant feel them diggin in, best of all they are cheap as chips and a good tyre. had loads of people comment on the tread pattern.

I've done about 1500 miles on my RA and it looks hardly warn. Granted I don't use it for commuting anymore and give it the beans in the corners but still..

I love mine, on my second rear now :-)
