Sat 18th... bbq at my gaff and then into York later?
 

Opening myself upto alsorts of trouble here but just wondered if anyone would be up for a bbq at mine and then maybe into york after for a few beers maybe? The missus will be away so no need to ask permission, and if the weather's nice I'll be tempted to do a carlsberg recce during the daytime (seeing as the winning date was voted for 9th august).

well i'm in :D (considering i'm the one who moaned at you that i'm all on my lonesome fo rthat saturday night) although i cant do the recce as no MOTd bike :(

Sounds crap, although i can only attend one of your crappy rideouts, so will be this or the actual Carlsberg run (which is awful). ;)

York is a grand night out (something stupid like 200 & odd pubs)... will just need everyone to evacuate before the missus gets back to avoid chronic ear ache (already got a touch of tinnitus so don't want to worsen this)

about an hour before she gets home - prolly about 2-3pm'ish on the sunday. She'll make it impossible for me to organise this if I tell her in advance, so the trick is to go ahead and do it, then tell her afterwards :D

should give me chance to get tidied up and have a shower. Unfortunately the spare bed is missing GP, just randomly disappeared the other night - I'm completely baffled lol.
