Caught speeding?
forwad facing camera van, just as you enter snowdon, over the llanberis? pass.... doing probably 55, in a 30, the guy jumps out of the van, and as we pass he is wriytting down our plates
whats the score, with this ? only yesterday i fitted a legal plate, instead of my 4x6, which he would not have saw lol |
Re: cought speeding?
You are nicked sonny. 30s is 30s and doing 55 in one is asking for a nicking up here, he has you on camera doing whatever speed and he took a note your plates to give evidence as an 'expert' witness.
I'd expect something nasty in the post by about Wednesday, they are efficient at handing these out round here! :( |
Re: cought speeding?

Re: cought speeding?
50 lashes for you, sonny:(
Perfectly legal for the police officer to write down your plate. Sorry but I concur with Mr Pants on this:(:(:( |
Re: cought speeding?
ACPO guideline for a court summons in a 30 limit is 50mph, you may be lucky, but it sounds like you will have been caught above this, so quite possibly this may be more than 3 points and 60 quid. It is only a guideline though.

Re: cought speeding?
how is a hand written numberplate a useable piece of evidence, or will it purely be used to match the bike / rider to th evideo evidence of the speeding.??
