Odd Phone Call
 

well , let`s go back to last night and the Badgeress and I have spent a nice evening together with her drinking Wine and laughing at me swearing at her new wardrobe as I try to assemble it . I have overtime to do in the morning so we decide to turn in around 1 in the morning and get some shut eye . We sleep for a bit and for some reason I sense a disturbance in the force and check my phone to see what time it is and it is 3am ....... I stare at the phone and I can hear a voice coming from it ?????? it hasn`t even rung and I can hear a small tinny voice with a Northern accent yelling "Badger ...... Badger ....... BADGER" .

The Badgeress turns to me and asks "Who is it?" .... I glare at the phone and squint a bit and make out a name and a number ...... Paul the 6th . He`s ripped to the eyeballs and sounds like he`s having a good stagger home . He proceeds to tell me the proceedings of his alcohol fuelled evening and I am drifting in and out of sleep , he then tells me he thinks the Badgeress is hot and she is asking me what he is saying so instead of relaying the messages I drop the phone on her side of the bed and she grabs it and proceeds to have a fully blown conversation with the 6th ....... little does he know she works nights so isn`t that sleepy and yours truly , rolls over and makes this noise "mnup mnup mnup" and promptly falls asleep again .

Apparently they yakk for about 30 minutes and swap stories about me , I have no idea what he told her but she is looking at me in a different light now ................. any ideas Paul ?





PS . You call me at 3 in the morning again and you are in for a whole world of hurt buddy , I`ve been known to dislocate shoulders at these bike meets ;)

LOL! he told me about this the morning after.....:smt042 Me and little miss ploppy where supposed to be going camping this weekend in Scarborough but the weather really poo pood that idea and so we ended up checking into a hotel in york. Anywho i told the missus that i had a friend in york so would give him a call and see if he wanted a 'quiet' drink........ well a quiet drink turned into a bit of a pish up and a 3am walk home and well you know the rest lol

it was a good night, full of mishcheif and lots of giggling:drink:





..........not so good for badger though :-?

The balance has been restored: just been on the phone to badger & badgeress for half an hour apologising for keeping it clean. Did I ring anyone else?

Other things that happened on Friday; Had 3 hugs from the door staff and bar manager at revs, danced (I was grinding baby!) with a guy to freak him out after he said something inappropriate to miss plopper, he soon left... then found a garden gnome on a park bench which I carried for about half a mile and then left him in a phonebox..
