Are you having a LARP?
 

I am, August Bank Holiday Weekend, 28th to the 31st August.

Rough Plan is get to Derby about Lunchtime, pitch tents, kit up, get to the beer tent.

On Sunday, if there is the interest, go for a ride round the Peak District, maybe have lunch at the Snake Pass Inn.

To save myself repeating myself AGAIN, see the 07 thread, where I was joined by Ibishu.

Last years thread failed to hook anyone, so heres hoping that there will be a bit more interest this year - it really is a fun, and unique, weekend :)

I'd like to LARP around with you SK...but unfortunately my weekends are taken up by the excitement of Quality Street, and they don't let me out of the asylum until xmas now :-(
I do however have a wardrobe full of old goth gear that seems to be looking more and more like LARP stuff these days, maybe its time to get it on ebay and make a few hundred quids??hmmmmmmm

No way dude! She looks like a slightly femiine version of Monkey. i'm sure shes a nice girl etc but its either an Aneka-a-like or an atypical busty wench in suitable corsetry for me please.

Ah the lovely Sarah, now if she was going then i'd deffo be there ;)

But the other ladies, thats more like it. :)

Correct me if i'm wrong tho, most of the ladies come along with their b/f or g/f right? I cant imagine many ladies being into this LARP lark and not have got into it cos of their o/h.

And i dont wanna be hitting on someone whos boyfriend is wearing armour and carrying a big stick :shock:

Well I have a mate not off the .org thats thinking of a similar costume to that one...

Some of them got into it via boyfriends, but many stayed on and played after the relationships ended.

Its definately a mostly male environment, and I wouldn't say its a place to go on the pull, but interesting times HAVE been known to happen.
