clutch/generator/gear change questions.

Right, got my project bike home and I'm starting to get my head around all the work I need to do, basically the generator/clutch release took alot of damage, as well as the gear change mech (part of the engine case has snapped off but the rod seems to be ok if a little bent)

My first wory was the engine case part that snapped off but that should just weld back on - so I am told..

The next worry was the generator but it seems to be a simple case of replace the rotor and the bit that attatches to the crank? (the thing the generator bit sits into?)

The final issue is the clutch - it seems the pushrod needs replacing as the whole mech got ripped off in the accident, so do the pushrod (s) just slide in? is it one rod? 2 rods? can engine oil come out of the hole that I currently have for the push rods or is it just the gear shift boss that will leak oil untill it is welded?

Thanks for any help - im a total amature and my questions are no doupt poorly explained!!

cheers

Depends what's broken - got a picture perhaps?

The rotor is directly attached to the crank, (the taper it's on is the left hand end of the crank), the stator is in the outer case.

Pushrod just slides in, is in two pieces, and yes, it will dribble a bit of oil when removed.
