The FZR Track Bike has got Renthal chain & Sprockets, that what was fitted when I bought it.
The Sv has some cheap & cheerful Gold X Ring Chain & steel sprockets because I'm that tight I squeak. :) They have lasted pretty well tho to be fair, so cant complain

yeah they are very good. I always use DID chains.

If it's for a track bike why don't you go for a 520 conversion? B and C express. gotta be good for an extra 0.5 BHP at the wheel!

Is that expensive? I'll look it up online. Also, any compromises?

No more expensive than the standard kit from the same place. Actually think it's a bit cheaper.

520 chains don't do the mileage that the stock 525 does.

If you want longevity go for 525 chain with steel sprockets. If you want performance and don't do that many miles get 520 and alloy sprockets. Bear in mind the performance gains are minimal and you probably wouldn't notice it on the road.
