I have just been offered the following bike.. what di you reckon?

its a 2002 RSV Mille in Matt black, on a 52 plate, NOT the R Model.

Just been serviced @ £200

has 4750 miles on the clock

It comes with

Datatool 3 Immob and alarm
Lightened OZ Wheels
Akrapovic Race Can
After market Rear Sets
Wavey Disks
Full MOT
Tax March
Baglux Tank Cover and Tank Bag
Good Tyres

It also comes with
Original Wheels & Disks
Orignal Can
Original Rearsets
Pillion Seat & Cowel?

He wants £3000 the lot or £2500 for the standard bike..

It sounds extremley tempting... who needs a wedding anyway.

Despite my prang the insurance is £330 comp.

I have yet to see it but I know the guy quite well and know it will be genuine. Cant gauge a price from other places very well so wondered what you all think... I think... it could be cheap?

Might pop along tonight and have a butchers?

Sounds like a flippin bargin.

Hang the wedding (runs back to Felixstowe and hides) :eye:

Can't advise you on the price, I'm not into rsv's, but owning an Aprilia myself, that price looks tasty...
One thing though, can you take it for a spin? Riding position is sporty and could be a problem after the Tuono.

Do it - bargain.... even if it's not the R.

I have ridden one which was a while ago. The main thing that I remember is that it is very sensitive to rider input. It was a short blast so can't say more than that. I was looking for one for a while and remember from my investigations that they are comfortable enough to commute on.I'd have it at the full price, although bargaining is worth a shot.
