Have you seen my keys???

You know....my bike keys..... on the keyring with the datatool wotnot and the red rubber sv keyring, i cant find them anywhere :smt089 I've been out for a lovely afternoon thrash around the local 'twisty's', come home, sent a couple of texts, got me bucket and sponge out and cleaned my girlie til she sparkles, tucked her up in the garage for the night with her silver sv buddy, gone to set the alarm and.......NO KEYS!!! Aaaaarrrggggh!!!

I have looked EVERYWHERE (with exception of one place obviously, cos thats where they are :-)) but no joy. Any ideas? If not, then where's the daftest place you've left your keys and how long did it take to find them?

lost mine at work - really pi**ed the caretaker off as I kept him 10 minutes past his finishing time. Anyway I found them in cabinet behind my desk where I put my lid. DOH

Have you checked the underseat compartment keyhole? Or even the ignition?

I've done that, bike outside overnight, key in the ignition. To compound it further, my lid, gloves & jacket were also left on the bike overnight.

Oh, I've done that at least 3 times now. What do I win? :D

As for your keys, the cat's eaten them. You'll find your alarm sets itself whenever the cat has a nap.

You'll be searching though the litter tray for weeks!! Sorry.

Two ideas, both of which worked for me
1. If you use a tank bag with magnets see if your keys have been picked up on the underside of the bag.
2. Get Treacle to look in your handbag!
