chuck some nails and screws out by where he usualy rides...that'll get rid of him for a while at least ;)

I accept no responsibility if you do this and a lost oil tanker ends up jack-knifing on your road.

Buy the cheapest car you can, don't get a receipt, forget to register or insure it, ram him off it and run home quick.

Then again, you could ignore him or chuck rocks at him.

Shell, I'll be in your neck of the woods as you know in a few weeks.

Concert of exhausts outside this lads girlfriends house? I would suggest the early hours of the morning, but your other neighbours wouldn't be appreciative of that. Perhaps have a word with some of them & hand them some ear plugs for the night in question? Afterall, it's in their benefit too if he stops acting like a prat.

In the mean time, have a quiet word about the noise, especially the horn if it's late at night. I know how quiet your estate is.

If he wants to ride without protective gear, meh, it's his skin. If he wants to ride without a lid, well, it's his head. But it's also illegal (I know traffic probably aren't allowed to chase if there's no lid, and knowing the estate, it'd be easy for him to run!) But the noise, when folks are trying to relax, isn't really on.

Good luck, and let me know about the exhaust thing. My bike still isn't running quite right, and I can produce a lovely backfire at will. :D
