Possible Forcefiield Pro Sub-4 group buy
 

Having read a review of the Forcefield Pro Sub-4 I'm interested in getting myself one, and possibly arranging a group buy. The review is here :-

The bad news it that they're only available through a distributor in the US and so it's not worth shipping for one or two. The list price is $189, which will probably translate to around £150 depending on dollar rates and shipping costs. My provisional timetable looks something like this...

Today - see if we have enough people interested to make it worthwhile

August 25th - try to get definite price and ask for definite orders.

August 31st - start getting money in my account (just after payday :))

September 14th - place order for everyone who has given me their money


So, if you're interested in one for around £150 stick your name on the list below. I'll start a separate thread for discussion in the equipment area so this thread shouldn't get derailed too often.

Given that there's only three of us interested I don't think it's viable to start shipping them over from the US.

Isn't this a UK-based company? Any word on why there not supplying them here (or when they will be)?

keith, probably too late for this now but my brother stays in the us and i try to visit at least once a year. you could get them sent there just before my next visit and i could bring them back and post them when back in the uk.
My dads visiting just now, I could see if he could fit one or two in his luggage.
This would obviously depend on size, weight and how quickly they could deliver to a us address.
If you can find out and let me know if you are interested I can call my brother and check if my dads got space. failing that i'm probably going over oct / nov and could do it then.

Find a supplier from close to you and phone them see if they can get them to get you one?

I did contact Forcefield in the UK but they weren't planning on releasing it in the UK for at least a year and don't have any stock in this country. At the moment there's only one distributor in the US.

I've got a few friends in the US, so next time one of them is coming over here I'll ask them to bring me one.
