I have a dvd I want to watch on my phone on the train. How do I do that?

You can download programmes that transfer the files to different formats.

They may not be free though.

Another barrier, may be copyright protection on the DVD itself...

I tried a couple of programs on video's I have on the laptop and they were crap.

Just do a search on the net for MP4 file transfer and it should return dozens of programmes that can do it.

Some are free but only transfer under 10 minutes of footage or something unless you pay...

Pocket Dvix is what I use on my windows mobile phone

Or Clone DVD mobile http://www.slysoft.com/en/clonedvd-mobile.html

You'll probably need to use AnyDVD to convert any copyright protected DVD to work with CloneDVD Mobile.

Clone DVD is really easy to use and is almost automatic, but I've not used CloneDVD mobile

Arrghghhh!! My stupid phone can't sync the audio and video. Works fine on the pc but the phone totally messes it up. Damn
