Yellow!
Hi guys,
Could someone tell me if there was more than one shade of Yellow the SV has been produced in? Currently looking at something on Fleebay, and the colour doesn't appear the same. Also, if fitting lower fairing panels, is a belly pan required ? Thanks Rob. |
Re: Yellow!
I have only seen the 1 shade stock (this is me personally) of course with all paint they change with sunlight and age etc so its very very hard to get a perfect match with any.
The new pointy seem a bit lighter shade than the curvys though? I dont think you need belly pan to fit the lowers. I might be totally wrong, just going by what I have seen. Ill take a look online and see what i can dig out for you though. |
Re: Yellow!
Yes theres two different shades on the Curvey ( 99 - 02 Model )
One is a darker slighy orangey yellow, the other is a lighter more Lemony yellow I cant remember the offical name for the first colour, but the lighter yellow is refered to as "pearl livey Yellow" No you dont need a belly ban if fitting Fairing lowers HTH |

Re: Yellow!
IIRC there were two yellows. A paler 'lemony' one (Pearl Lively Yellow) and the darker 'banana' (Pearl Canyon Yellow) one. I'm correct on the names, just only 99% sure which is which :smt011

Earlier was Pearl Canyon
Later Pearl Lively |
