No credit check loans
 

Hi guys, just a quick one....

If any members of the org are looking for finance, run as far away as you possibly can from any companies offering no credit check loans.

A few years back, I was the victim of pretty serious ID theft and fraud, ending with a break in when I was in bed. All ended up ok, although have had issues with banks to this day because of the mess that was left.

Yesterday, I found out that one of the companies that had given the fraudster a loan in my name, actually went through two applications in the sam day from that person. The first loan I found out about and was all sorted with the police and courts. The second loan was not discovered as the company have such archaic systems that my name never cross matched and showed the other loan (taken out 2hrs 30 mins after the first).

With my bank freezing my account AGAIN this week, we finally got to the bottom of it and so this othe loan is now being sorted by the police and I don't have to do much thankfully.

The message here is....if you are in financial hardship.....DO NOT turn to companies like this. I can't name them for obvious reasons, but if you need money.....find anothe way, these companies will ruin you with their interest rates and charges! I'm sorted now, but if the loan was actually mine, it would have been £4k over 3 years with a 64% interest while payments were current, rising to 113% if I missed or was late on just one payment. Protect you credit guys......get a password on your credit file....no-one will be doing this to me again and I don't want it to happen to anyone else!!!

Legal reasons being obvious. This is a public Forum and I am currently in the middle of the police dealing with them over giving out another loan in my name and as soon as the police case is closed, I will immediately be sueing them for three years of carp that I've had to deal with.

If I name them, they can try an counter claim and they're not going to see me budge.......I'm going to have them shut down if I can. I'm in a fighting mood!:smt021:smt094

Phew, sounds like a real nightmare that! Glad you're nearly there with sorting things out GG...

Couldn't agree with this more. A friend of mine took a loan out with a dodgy company to fund his OH's boob job, but got caught up with the harsh interest rates. Ten years on, having long since split with his OH and repaid the loan several time over, he still owed money...

I presume you're talking about companies like Provident, GG. See, I can name them! :D
