Beware of this SV650 For sale
Hi,
Some of you may rememner a thread i put up on here a while ago about Speed motorcycles C**K up. http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=135792 Well now they are selling it for £800 more than they brought it off of me, thats not the thing to watch out for tho. It says on the add that it is sold for spares and repairs. There is absolutley nothing wrong with the bike, it's a wonderfull bike i wish i still had it, but there mabey finance outstanding on it still so if you want it do a hpi check first, even tho it's from a dealer. http://www.speedthrills.co.uk/bikesalesframe.htm Go to Sv650 in the drop down list and it's the candy blue curvey bike with yellow rim tape. Cheers Nath |

Re: Beware of this SV650 For sale
Ok, I've read your other thread (twice, because you postedthe same link twice ;))
But not your exbike for sale. I would say thanks for the warning but is that not what dealers do? sell bikes for a profit? |

Re: Beware of this SV650 For sale
If someone id fool enough to pay £800 over the odss for a bike that aint worth it then thats their call i guess. I'd imagine they will slash the price soon if ti dont shift, no one likes holding on to stock and if you dont start stupidly highhow can you say "amazing price rediction!" and "must go" in a few days weeks time and still make some profit?
Thanks for the heads up on the finance tho, some peeps dont consider that. |

Did you ever claim your extra £200? So out of the £800 is £200 that's due to you, say at least £200 that the new buyer will knock off the price leaves £400 - not that unreasonable :smt102 |

Thanks for the warning but I don't think anybody is stupid enough to buy a £2K SV described as

Re: Beware of this SV650 For sale
I had a similar thing when I traded my CB500 in... they gave me a grand on trade-in and within a week it was on their (Blunder Road) website for £1800. I'd argued it was worth more than a grand but they'd refused to go higher. Suffice it to say, that combined with my practically new SV being delivered out of fuel with a dead battery means I won't be doing business with them again.

No i haven't claimed my £200 back yet, should do really, Yeah i know you would have to be a bit bonkers, i brought this bike when it had 20,000 miles on it for £1900 and now it has an illegal tread limit front tyre, and 9300 more miles and they have bumped it up 95 quid. |
