BSA Bantam.
Well, now that I am back on two wheels a friend of mine has offered me a cool opportunity. We're going to Popham airfield this Sunday, there is some kind of bike meet. He'll be riding a Square 4 (whatever that is) and I'll be riding a 1948 BSA Bantum! :smt119
1948, WW2 tech, 4 gears in no particular order..............I'll love it! Will get lots of piccies. Although he said we MIGHT break down..........lots:rolleyes: |
Re: BSA Bantum
Square 4 is an Arial.

Re: BSA Bantum
Yeah can't wait. Never ridden anything older than early 90's so will be awesome.
I think we might need a support crew! :p |

Re: BSA Bantum
owned a D3 for a while, I had the "mighty" force of 150cc to play with and a bouncy rear end......oooooh the luxury of it all...:)
Cheers Mark. |

Re: BSA Bantum
I had a BSA B40, 350cc single, for awhile, along with my everyday hack Honda 440-4 and for touring a Moto Guzzi T3.
The B40 resulted in loose fillings it vibrated so much! Got rid in 1980 but for some strange reason i remember it fondly, unlike the Guzzi which was a pig round town. |
