We are stopping at a friends lodge on a565 near Banks. Not on bike as wife,small boy and daft labrador wont fit on sv

About 10 miles from me... have a great time. I don`t think Southport allow dogs on the beach so if you want a good walk for the lab then come to Crosby beach and walk either way for a couple of miles. You can also see the rusty naked iron men!

Thanks Claire have been to that beach before but not with dog thanks for tip. Took my son and his friend to Awesome Walls climbing centre in Bootle yesterday. Top place and lives up to the name.

Yes I`ve heard that place is loads of fun... my friend takes her son there, he loves it. Glad you`re all having a great time

Also have to say that while i was taking the dog out along the road last night i noticed loads of other bikes out having a good time. Sensibly but having a good time. Contrast that With the number of clowns in cages that were behaving like this was le mans. Who are the irresponsible ones? Hats

Was a Wednesday night so there is a huge motorbike gathering at the Carousel in Southport, they also go up to the Scotch Piper in Lydiate a few miles away.
