is renntec racks good and strong any one no and are they worth there money .thanks been looking at one on the site for £60 with vat

I've got one, it's alright. Only attaches at one point though so a bit prone to flex. Fine with a tent, 2 roll mats and a gallon of juice on though. But not good enough for proper weight.

yeh tats what i was gona use it for a tent and that u think that a good price and did you fit yours yourself

Its 2 bolts to fit, goes where the grab rail fits, oficially its got a weight limit of either 2.5 or 5kg cant remember which, but i've had much more than that on mine.

£60 not bad, mine was £40 second hand mint condition. Dead easy to fit. And ah yes, remove the 5kg sticker, they work much better without it.

Out of curiosity, do you think I would offer servicing on SV's if I could not fit a rack :smt119:p

Yes that is what its says on the label, but I've had far more than that stuck on it, for instance a ten kilo tent and then some on top of that!

I paid 25 quids on the forum for mine,
