Falling over SV650S (aka Charlie!)
Had that annoying experience of paddling the bike back in a friend's drive, and slip, there goes my foot on some fine gravel, and crunch down on the left side of the bike.:smt022
So need new indicators (managed to crack right one in a similar incident, hate gravel!), and have some nice scratches up both after-market fairings (solid red plastic, not undercoated). My Q to you is, can anyone suggest a "T-cut" style solvent that'll polish out the majority of scratches? Or we could share more of these mildly embarrassing stories!:smt043 |
Re: Falling over SV650S (aka Charlie!)
Yep, did that wheeling mine into the garage. Fortunately it didn't hit the floor - the shelves got in the way...
...and put a huge crease in the tank  I don't think T-Cut is going to help me much! Can't help with your question tho, soz |
Re: Falling over SV650S (aka Charlie!)
I don't really rate 'T-cut', I prefer to use what body shops use - cream compound. IMO, I think it works a lot better than 'T-cut', with less elbow grease. Any car shop should sell it or give www.morelli.co.uk a try. That's where I buy it from. IIRC the comound I use is called G2?
