1st Pillion Ride

Just back, 1st time took Mrs.O.G. on the back, shes never been near a bike let alone been on one, she LOVED it!!!!
3 hours later, back & she wants to go again, looks like I have killed any chance of single mid week blasts now.
Looks like we will be a visitin more bike shops from now on!
Looking forwards to Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rave:

She is thinkin about it, but she is 5' 1" & i am 6' 2" so could not share.
She would have to have her own, then cause she is competative, we would end up racin & that would be bad............................wouldn't it ?

Re: 1st Pillion Ride

Mind you Carol and I just really enjoy going for rides together, she is always full of advice and tips on how I can get better and ride safer (all of those years as an instructor I guess), but most of all, I really want to just load up a couple of bikes one day and go off on a road trip together.

Being competitive would be a bad idea with her though, she can make our SV do things that I can just about do on my mountain bike, rolling stoppies, wheelies and I swear she jumped it once or twice, although she denies it all an claims to be innocent!

Have fun Mr and Mrs OG, it could be the start of a whole new adventure for you both, am I the only one thinking track days here?

How cool is that:cool:

Tell me the secret please, Mrs Ed dislikes motorcycles. That's putting it mildly:rolleyes: She refuses to get on the back 'because Miss Ed needs at least one parent':rolleyes::rolleyes:

Catching some air is best "muahahaha" moment... There is one up in Dales, you hit jump at over ton (kmh honest) after a flat out corner, best biking moments so far :smt118:rambo:

So you go learn to wheelie and stoppie. It is great for bike control :-P

Tracks won't let you on with a pillion! You can go to nurburgring for this though!

Well done & good for her:thumbsup:.

Ive only ever taken my OH pillion a handful of times:(the last time being a few weeks back & when she got off she was shaking like a sh1tting dog(never went over 60).I take my 2 young sons(5& a half & 9) quicker than that, the eldest would not have a problem doing warp speed, come to think of it the younger probably would'nt either, although when their on the back i ride sensibly & exercise some self discipline.....still think my OH should take a leaf out of their book though:roll:
