Guys* - films you have blubbed** too

Was watching 'Million Dollar Baby' (again) last night and I will admit that towards the end I did have a lump in my throat, the other half.... nothing.

Anyone else care to join the club - oh and I am referring to films with a bit of depth here (not formulaic chick flicks).

* Awaiting the first person to see 'don't you mean g@ys'
** 'Blubbed' meaning crying, this is not a euphamism for something else

Cr@p typo in the heading - please don't send me to grammar hell.

Seven pounds for sure. I love the piano music in that.

What else?

Marley & Me (You'll know what I mean if you've had pets before)
Grave of the fireflies (Superb animé)

There's loads more too.

Only 2 films have ever actually reduced me to tears, Schindler's List and Hotel Rwanda, both amazingly powerful films, I defy anyone not to be moved by them.

That got me too, at the end. But I also thought the whole film was a bit poo. Plot summary:
A couple got a dog, did stuff, then the dog died.

Sort of sad with no good bits to make up for it.

"It's a wonderful life" - a black and white starring James Stewart.

Sorry, i'm an old B&W fan - more atmosphere.

That one nearly got me! They showed it last Xmas at the Cornerhouse in Manchester - brilliant film, but probably a different type of 'lump in throat' from the 2 I posted above.

It took all my british stiff-upper-lipidness to get thru' The Green Mile without a tear!

That's the only movie that I've nearly been a big girl's blouse whilst watching!
