Damaged bike - What to do

4 Attachment(s)
Hi guys,

The other weekend I binned by bike on a corner and managed to damage the front and side fairings of my bike. Now I want to replace the fairings and things but I'm struggling to find any in reasonable condition/price.

Other than the above what are my options?

Below are some picture of the damage

I recon you could plastic weld/ Glue/ Gaffer tape(!) what you've got - then if something happens to come up on Ebay & you're feeling flush....

When you say fighter it, do you mean whipping off the fairing. New head light, clocks and stuff to make it into a naked?

Depends what you call reasonable price, but I have the 3 fairing pieces, 1 mirror, clear screen, bar end.

Lights look ok, but guess subframe is wonky. What about the clip-ons? Anything else?

You can run it as a 'S' without fairings while searching ebay for the bits to fix.

Think I'm going to have to strip it tonight to see how bad the damage is to the frame and stuff. It's at my brothers house, as I don't want to let my mum know I've come off the bike (not cause I'll get in trouble or anything, my uncle died on his bike when she was younger). Which might be hard but I'm going to give it a try.

If I can I'm going to run it with just the headlight, get some LED indicators and bar end mirrors. Man binning your bike is a major hassle :P
