Moving to Coventry....
 

its time to leave lovely old Kirkby behind and head towards a new life in Coventry. Im moving in about 3 weeks. All the boring stuff is taken care, finding somehwere to live etc.

The exciting stuff shall be finding some nice roads, a new weekly biker meet and a more exciting route home when i go to drop off washing at my parents. Can anyone give me some locla routes or road names i could start with?

some fun roundabouts... by "fun", i mean pick a lane at random, dodge everyone else doing the same thing, and offer thanks whichever god you subscribe to when you reach the exit alive.

Thanks for the replys, but it doesn't fill me with confidence much! I guess im spoiled living just 12 miles away from matlock bath, and the glorious roads around it.

From Coventry, if i planned on doing around 100 miles on a sunday ride out, where should i be heading?

And what about bike meets? I've heard good things about Bassets pole... that ain't too far away is it?

Liam, it's not all doom and gloom. We're in Rugby, so only a few miles from you, and there are some great roads around here.
