The daughter has been cultivating a couple of chilli plants on the kitchen window. don't ask what variety I don't know. We wondered when they would be ready.

So a few have turned bright red so I picked one and cut off a sliver.

Effing hell pint pot of water and I am still bright pink. I think now I know they are a shade on the warm side I might just enjoy these.

Ah I learned an invaluable chilli lesson many years ago chaps.

Wash your hands before you go to the loo. and wash them again and again.

Cooking a meal with the wife dunking your best friend in a bowl of cold water is not easy.

also a second tip is not to get amorus with the ladies before the aformentioned hand washing else a red face is the last of your worries :crutches:

The Only Thing I Know About Chilli

that if you put the merest smidge of chilli oil in a bigggg quantity of water then used the water as body paint, [the paintee] wont actually realise it wasnt a very good idea until the water evaporates.....

I don't think any male chef has ever not done this. I have. Several times.
